Why comparison is different from validation

Validation asks whether one file is readable and follows supported structural rules. Change review asks whether the edited file still represents the business update you intended. You need both when an important price book has been edited outside Housecall Pro.

Changes worth reviewing first

• A price or cost moved to zero.
• A category or industry changed.
• An identifier disappeared or changed.
• A source column was removed.
• Rows were added or removed unexpectedly.
• A bulk edit changed far more rows than intended.

Do not use visual inspection as your only control
